Long Beach Unveils New Tourism Logo

Image part of city's post-Hurricane Sandy efforts to attract visitors to the beach town.

The City of Long Beach on Monday unveiled a new tourism campaign logo.

The logo features images of a seagull flying against a sunburst and over a boardwalk, and the words “Long Beach” are written in script, all done up in navy- and baby-blue tones with touches of whites and grays. It is part of the city’s various and ongoing efforts to attract visitors to the beach town that is still recovering from the extensive damage wrought by Hurricane Sandy in October.
