‘Passport Day’ Coming This Weekend

Residents are invited to get their passports at the Town Clerk’s Office in Hempstead this weekend.

The Town is encouraging all residents to take advantage of the special weekend opportunity to apply for a passport.

The event will be held Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Clerk’s office at 1 Washington Street in Hempstead.

The office offers a one-stop process where they supply applications, take the passport photos, and collect all fees and necessary information. New passports are mailed out to recipients.

A “Speedy Pass” service is also offered via a mobile passport service.
