Suozzi Helps Reopen LB Democratic Headquarters
Park Avenue headquarters reopen after damage sustained during Sandy.
Nassau County Executive Democratic nominee Tom Suozzi was on hand Tuesday night to help reopen Long Beach Democratic Headquarters after it was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.
The October storm ravaged the location at 305 W. Park Ave.
Suozzi is running against current County Executive Ed Mangano in the upcoming November election after losing his seat to Mangano in 2009.
Also on hand for Tuesday night's grand opening were county comptroller candidate Howard Weitzman, county clerk candidate Laura Gillen and
current district attorney Kathleen Rice.
Joining the county candidates were Long Beach Councilman Scott Mandel, Councilwoman Eileen Goggin, city council nominee Anthony Eramo and Judge Roy Tepper.
