What Questions Would You Ask Council Candidates?

The six candidates vying for three seats on the Long Beach City Council — three Democrats and three “clean slate” independents — will meet again Saturday, for a second Candidates Forum, held at 10 a.m. at the People’s Church, 111 Delaware Ave., hosted by the West End Neighbors Civic Association.

In an email sent to the association’s members and Long Beach residents in general, WENCA asks what questions they would like to ask the candidates. The email continues:

“To try and ensure that the candidates address topics that the voters want to hear about, we want to hear from you. Please email westendneighbors@outlook.com and tell us what topics or questions you want the candidates to address. What do you want to know so you can make an informed choice in the voting booth on Tuesday?”

Patch would also like to know the questions you would like the candidates to answer before Election Day on Nov. 5. Let us know in the comments below.
