Voter's Guide: Long Beach School Budget, Board Elections

What you need to know for Tuesday's budget vote and school board election.

Long Beach School District residents will vote on the district's $130,040,198 budget for the 2014-15 school year Tuesday.

The proposal calls for a 5.07 percent budget-to-budget increase from last year and a 3.24 percent tax levy increase. Get a rundown of changes in the district's budget pamphlet here.

Incumbent Dennis Ryan, Lynn Gergen, Warren Vegh, and Maureen Vrona are vying for two seats on the Board of Education.
