Beach Volleyball Tourney Set for Nickerson Beach

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced that Nassau County, in conjunction with Volleyball Long Island (VBLI), will be hosting the First Annual “Players Ball” Beach Volleyball Tournament at Nickerson Beach on Aug. 11.  The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. There will be music, food, fun and great prizes.

The first annual “Players Ball” beach volleyball tournament is free and open to the public.  Teams can consist of women, men, co-ed, doubles and co-ed fours.  There will be round robin pool play. General pool play games will be rally scoring. Prizes will be awarded to the first place team in each division.
