The Michelle O'Neill Foundation to benefit children with cancer will hold their 16th annual volleyball tournament fundraiser on Saturday, 9/8/12, on New York & Grand Boulevard beaches in Long Beach, NY.
It is the largest single event volleyball tournament on the East Coast, and approximately 300 competitive and recreational teams are registered to participate. Opening ceremony is scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
There will be music, raffles, kids' tent, and "smiley wear" merchandise sold throughout the day. This is an event that is very well regarded and loved by the community, and is a meaningful way for the community to mark the end of the summer and to have fun while making the lives of families experiencing catastrophic times a little better by relieving some of financial burdens associated with caring for a child with cancer. www.monfoundation.org.
