Long Beach Coach Notches 100th Career Win at Hofstra

Hofstra women's basketball head coach Krista Kilburn-Steveskey, a Long Beach resident, notched her 100th career win Sunday afternoon.

Coach Kilburn-Steveskey picked up the milestone win when her Hofstra Pride defeated Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) rival Northeastern at home, 72-66. Kilburn-Steveskey, who is in her sixth year as Hofstra women's basketball head coach, now has a career mark of 100-77. 

Hofstra is in the midst of a successful season with a 14-4 record including 6-1 in the CAA. The Pride are next in action on Thursday at first place Delaware. Hofstra's next home game is scheduled for Feb. 2 against William & Mary starting at 7 p.m. in the Mack Sports Complex.
