L.B. Forecast: Mid-Teen Temps to Follow Snowfall

Approximately 7.5 inches of snow fell overnight and into Friday in Long Beach and accumulations are expected to rise throughout the morning, according to weather.com.

As of 8:30 a.m., the temperature in the city is 13 degrees and the projected high for the day is 17 degrees, with winds between 20 and 25 MPH.

“A steady light snow will taper off and end by 9 a.m.,” reads the forecast for Long Beach on weather.com. “Some decrease in cloudiness and windy. Temperatures rising towards the upper teens. Winds NNW at 20 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 60%. Additional snowfall less than half an inch through 1:30 p.m.”
