Snow Totals: Long Beach 10, Lido Beach 8.5

Pockets of nearly every corner of Nassau County were blanketed with several inches of snow, according to statistics compiled by the National Weather Service.

Long Beach had an 10 inches of snow, while neighboring Lido Beach residents had to shovel 8.5 inches of the white stuff.

Along the south shore, Medford clocked in at the Island-wide high of 33 inches. East Norwich, Massapequa Park and Plainview saw the most snow in Nassau County - 18 inches each.

thank you long beach for plowing all the cars in on doyle street, instead of the empty grass strip across by the canal.

Really Bear? Get out much? 20 miles from us people are buried in snow. How would it sound if someone on the North Shore told us that Sandy was a bust?
