Get some international and historic flavor this weekend near Long Beach.

Mid-Autumn Festival at Adelphi
Adelphi's Chinese Students and Scholars Association and International Students Societyare hosting a cultural festival at Adelphi Friday at 7:30 p.m. The display is in honor of the Chinese celebration of harvest and families will prepare mooncakes, modern performances, and more.

Final Westholme Movie Night
Bring the kids for a movie on the beach in Long Beach Friday at 6:30 p.m. Bring the kids, grandkids, and some chairs to the boardwalk near Lafayette Boulevard. Free popcorn will be provided.

Irish Day: The Ancient Order of Hibernians will hold the annual Irish Day Parade & Festival in Long Beach on Saturday. The parade starts at Washington Boulevard and West Beech Street and heads into the West End starting at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Shipboard to Cupboard Exhibition Opening
Head to the Rock Hall Museum in Lawrence and get a feel for America's Colonial era. Beginning Sunday at 1:30 p.m., explore the brand new exhibit.
