Overlooking Reynolds Channel, Long Beach High School teaches some 1,395 students in grades 9 through 12, including students from Island Park School District. The school has science and computer labs, art studios, bilingual and alternative school programs, and a swimming pool. Long Beach is one of a select few high schools on Long Island with an International Baccalaureate program. Principal Dr. Gaurav Passi is in his first year at LBHS. The vice principals are John Emmons, Cheriese Pemberton and Thomas DePaola.
