This is a spectacular idea, I can see many other businesses following suit. How does this exactly…Read More work? Does he just open up a business on taxpayer property and collect fees? Do the taxpayers get a percentage? What happens if a person gets hurt, do the attorneys file a suit against the company or the city? Does his company have any liability insurance? Does the city need to be named on the policy as an additional insured? Can taxpayers just show up, stand real close to this group and participate without sending in the fee?

instead of worrying about exercising we should all be organizing and sueing our city and federal…Read More government for the diaster they have inflicted on us worse than Sandy! NJ and the Rockaways bounced back faster... what about our town? the businesses? the fact that as a town we need tourist dollars for our retailers, why are we spendig that insane amount of money on the boardwalk? and why do we need an engineer to figure out a raised platform with a flat surface? Why not build huge sand dunes at the edge of the beach , raise up the boardwalk to 15 feet push the sand dunes underneath, create a wall behind and top it all off with concrete? we can use pretty benches and decorative lighting for beauty... at the same time help the small businesses in town stay afloat and help all the homeowners fix and raise their foundations the 10 feet necessary so this doesn't happen again? doesn't feel like rocket science .. where is our hospital? our services?? what happens to our property values? why aren't our taxes being lowered!

So why are you only picking on hockey players it's the same all across the board for the other 3…Read More major sports as well as NASCAR ( I think), tennis etc. Same in other parts of the world for soccer. aRod gets how much per season? not certain but I think it's 18 million . and he was 0 for 18 post season play. I don't like it either. It's prohibitively expensive to go to any major league event. Parking at Shea , now Citi , is $19. Beers almost $10 6.50 for ice cream. Lookinfg at it from the athletes point of view their average work life is only a few years so they have to make it while they can. Also it now has become apparent that hockey and football players in particular are suffering serious head injuries that cripple them
Later in life. it's all driven by TV revenue so who cares? Instead of getting angry at stuff like this why don't you focus on something important like violence against women and children by real dortbags.
