Heinrich Secker, Neighbor

I was born in the desert, raised in a longhorn’s pen,

Tamed the mighty Racoon river, chasing twisters and sisters,

Fought forest fires in six rivers and caught swordfish in the ocean deep,

Now I’m home in the pines, where cool breezes wind,

down arroyos and canyons deep,

Sun and clouds play with awesome display, and me on my mandolin.
