Long Beach Woman Charged in Prostitution Sting

A Long Beach woman was charged with prostitution in Westbury on May 7.

According to Nassau County Police Department, Annie Cruz, 25, of W. Walnut St. and Lauren Regan, 26, of Valley Stream were inside a hotel in Westbury at 9:15 p.m when they offered to engage in a sexual act in exchange for money with an undercover detective.
Cruz and Regan were arrested without incident and charged with prostitution. Both defendants were released on tickets to appear at the First District Court in Hempstead on May 21.
