Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs

Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs comes to
Long Beach

The Theatre
Guild and Southeast Civic Light Opera Children’s Repertory is celebrating it’s
19th year of community theater.
Opening their fall season is “Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs” written by
Alice Peters and directed by Jeff Hathcock. The show will play beginning
November 1 thru the 10th.
Fridays at 7:30 pm Saturday and Sundays at 2:00 PM with a special
performance on Saturday the 9th at 7:30 pm. The performances will be
held in conjunction with the Cultural Alliance of Long Beach at 737 Pine Ave.

This
whimsical production is made up of children between the ages of 8 and 13 from
local schools in Long Beach.  Hathcock
has been known to be a “Pied Piper” of directors not only with children’s
theater but productions featuring adults.
He is also an independent motion director with his latest movie, a film
noir thriller, due out later next month.

“I love
working with children and teaching them the basics of acting,” commented
Hathcock.  “Having a professional
attitude and being disciplined are the fundamentals that we also teach.  My work has been very rewarding as so many of
our “kids” have gone on to professional theater, television and other
professions where our training has paid off for them.”

“Snow White
and the 7 Dwarfs” is presented in its traditional format with a few twists and
changes that make the Hathcock shows always fun for the entire family.  Prepare to have a great time!
