Special City Council Meeting Called for Friday
Trustees to vote on items for city's swimming pool.
The City of Long Beach has scheduled a special meeting of the City Council on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall. The following is the agenda:
- Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Amend the Current Agreement with de Bruin Engineering P.C. for Design Services at the City’s Natatorium.
Legislative Memo: As a result of damages sustained from Superstorm Sandy, additional design services are required to fully restore the City’s natatorium (swimming pool). Funding is being requested through public assistance grant monies from FEMA.
- Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Enter into an Agreement for the Furnishing and Installation of a New Filtration System at the City’s Natatorium.
Legislative Memo: The filtration system for the City’s swimming pool was destroyed as a result of Superstorm Sandy. Funding is being requested through public assistance grant monies from FEMA.
