Two employees were arrested for unauthorized practice at an Oceanside acupuncture office Friday afternoon, one of whom was also charged with prostitution.

According to Nassau County detectives, an undercover operation determined that Hua Yang, 51, and Zhenyun He, 59, both of Flushing, were practicing massage therapy without a license while working at Acupuncture, at 433 Merrick Rd. in Oceanside.

Police said Yang also offered to engage in a sexual act for an undisclosed amount of money.

Both defendants were taken into custody around 3:50 p.m. without incident.

The defendants were charged with unauthorized practice of a crime. Additionally, Yang was charged with prostitution. They were arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
