Crossfit defines fitness across several areas, from strength to agility to stamina, and incorporates varied exercises, including weight lifting, gymnastics and sprinting.

Sunday’s event was spearheaded by Dr. Sean Pastuch and Mike Abgarian,  owners of CrossFit King of Island Park, at 4454 Austin Blvd., which was located in the West End of Long Beach prior to Hurricane Sandy.

Ask about the outcome of the event, Pastuch told Patch: “It was awesome. It could not have been better. It could not have been better.”
