Police Report: Arrests for Grand Larceny, Identity Theft, Bench Warrants

LBPD blotter on Long Beach-related incidents.

The following information was supplied by the Long Beach Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does notindicate convictions.

Arrests               

  • Carlos Quintanilla, 25, of Freeport was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license, circumvention of an interlock device and driving through a red light at East Park Avenue and Riverside Boulevard on March 18.
  • Devare Wilson, 36, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with an open bench warrant on March 21.
  • Scott Smith, 51, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny at Long Beach Police Department headquarters on March 21.
  • Christopher Cruz, 22, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny and identity theft at East Broadway on March 22.
  • Joseph Pierna, 24, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny and identity theft at LBPD headquarters on March 22.  
  • Anthony Brew, 26, of Howard Beach was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license at West Park Avenue on March 23.
  • Jewel Weiner, 22, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with an open bench warrant and violating probation at LBPD headquarters on March 23.
  • Michael Gonzalez, 21, of Island Park was arrested and charged with two open bench warrants at New Hampshire Street on March 25.
